Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for adults and kids, and an outdoor cold plunge, infrared sauna and hot tub — all in the heart of Huntington Village. A complete system for becoming the best version of yourself, on and off the mats.
Jiu-Jitsu forces you to solve problems under pressure, breathe when it's hard, and stay calm when instinct says panic. That discipline doesn't stay on the mat. It carries into your work, your relationships, and every challenge you face. You become someone who doesn't quit.
Whether you've never trained a day in your life or you're coming back after years away, you're welcome here. Gi, No-Gi, leg locks, wrestling, and strength & conditioning, built into a complete system.

Functional conditioning built through full-body movement. No treadmill required, every class doubles as a workout you'll actually feel.
Training your nervous system in a controlled environment has real-world payoff. You become less reactive and more present in every area of life.
Members consistently report sleeping better, making clearer decisions, and feeling more focused at work within weeks of starting.
Practical techniques drilled with live, progressive resistance. The quiet confidence of knowing you can handle yourself.
The room at Zen genuinely wants you to improve. Beginners are welcomed, egos are left at the door, and the energy is always high.
Mark Lim's philosophy is ecological+drilling and longevity-first, designed to make you healthier and more capable for decades, not months.
When a child gets stuck underneath someone and learns to breathe, think, and work their way out, that moment builds something no pep talk can manufacture. Real confidence, earned on the mat, that makes them unstoppable everywhere else.

Movement, listening, and body control through play. Where the habits of discipline and confidence are first planted.

Foundational technique through games and light sparring. Learning to stay calm when things get uncomfortable, the earliest lesson.

Live drilling, positional sparring, wrestling, and striking. The next level is always waiting and the room pushes you toward it.
Kids who train carry themselves differently, calmer, more confident, far less likely to be targeted or rattled by social pressure.
The discipline of consistent practice translates directly. Parents regularly notice sharper attention spans and improved grades.
Greater social confidence. Better at navigating hard moments. The resilience that builds on the mat shows up in every relationship.
Our coaches are patient, energetic, and genuinely love teaching kids. The environment is safe, structured, and full of enthusiasm.

An outdoor contrast therapy space available year-round in Huntington Village. Cold plunge, infrared sauna, and hot tub, proven tools that reduce inflammation, improve sleep, and sharpen everything between your ears.

Infrared heat penetrates deeper than traditional saunas, boosting circulation, recovery, and cardiovascular health at a cellular level.

Step into discomfort, emerge stronger. Cold exposure trains your nervous system, floods your body with clean energy, and triggers lasting mood and focus benefits.

Heat relaxes tight muscles, improves circulation, and helps your body properly unwind. Paired with cold, the contrast accelerates recovery and drives down inflammation.
Cold exposure produces the kind of clean, focused energy no coffee can match, without the crash.
Measurable mood and focus lift after each session, often lasting several hours.
Reduced soreness and inflammation between training sessions. Recover harder, train harder.
Heat and cold cycling resets your circadian rhythm and promotes deep, restorative sleep.
Controlled exposure to cold trains your nervous system, the calm you build here carries into everything else.
When you can control your breathing in 40°F water, the rest of your day feels much smaller.

"FINALLY got around to visit this hidden gem in the heart of Huntington Village. My boys took their first ever Jiu Jitsu class and loved it so much that we returned the next day. Then I got to experience the outdoor garden and bathing area for some peace and restoration. I can't wait to visit again through all of the seasons. Highly recommend!!!!"
"Originally came to Zen Jiu Jitsu for the outdoor cold plunge and saunas and immediately became a full member taking movement classes — BJJ, kickboxing and flex. Very clean facilities and great coaches all around. Paired with a clean diet, I lost 30 lbs and changed my body composition in 3 months. Zen has been a life changer."
"Incredible experience every time I go. Visiting the outdoor bath house for recovery in the cold plunge & sauna and the jiu jitsu classes is always the highlight of my week. I can't recommend visiting Zen Jiu Jitsu enough!"
No experience needed. No judgment. Just honest answers to help you take the first step.
None whatsoever. Everyone at Zen started as a beginner. Our adult intro classes on Friday and Saturday/Sunday Open Mats are specifically designed for people walking in for the first time.
No. Jiu-Jitsu gets you in shape, you don't need to be in shape to do it. Most people are surprised by how much of a workout it is, and how quickly their fitness improves just from showing up consistently.
Athletic shorts and a t-shirt are perfectly fine for your first visit. No gi (uniform) required until you decide to join.
Jiu-Jitsu is one of the safest martial arts because it's largely ground-based with no striking. Our coaches prioritize safe training above everything, tapping out is respected, egos are checked at the door.
Book online, show up, and train, no charge. After your trial, we'll walk you through membership options and get you started on the right plan. No pressure, no hard sell.
Memberships start at $109/month and go up to $289/month depending on frequency (4x, 8x, or unlimited) and whether bathhouse access is included. We'd rather walk you through the options after your free class so we can match you to the right plan.
Yes. A day pass is $50 and gives you access to every Jiu-Jitsu class running that day. Add a 60-minute bathhouse session for $75 total. Book online anytime.
Gi training uses a traditional uniform which adds grips and lapel work. No-Gi is done in shorts and a rash guard, faster and more wrestling-influenced. Both are offered at Zen, and most members train both.
Yes, our Ninjas class is built specifically for ages 3–4. It's play-based, movement-focused, and structured around what kids that age actually respond to.
Safety is the first priority in every youth class. Our coaches are trained specifically to work with kids, and all contact is supervised and age-appropriate.
Most parents notice changes within the first 4–8 weeks, better focus, more confidence in social situations, and calmer behavior at home. By 3 months, most kids are transformed.
That's completely normal, and honestly, those kids often benefit the most. Our coaches are patient, low-pressure, and great at drawing shy kids out at their own pace.
Not at all. The bathhouse is open to everyone, you can book a session completely independently of any Jiu-Jitsu membership.
Each session is 1 hour, which is enough time for 2–3 full contrast rounds. Sessions are by appointment so you always have the space to yourself or with your group.
Yes, the bathhouse is fully outdoor and fully operational year-round in Huntington, NY. The cold plunge and sauna are actually most popular in the winter months.
For most healthy adults, yes. We recommend starting with shorter exposures (30–60 seconds) and building up gradually. If you have cardiovascular conditions or are pregnant, consult your doctor first.
